Courageous Conversations with Tech Leaders
Mental health matters in tech companies, as it does in any other workplace. The tech industry is known for its fast-paced and demanding environment which comes with unique pressures. How can we navigate these challenges while fostering mental resilience and thriving in the fast-paced world of tech?
Prioritizing mental health is an important conversation to have. Tech companies seem to be increasingly recognizing the importance of mental health and implementing various initiatives to support their employees. An empathetic and strongly connected community with accessible resources is important to building resilience.
This month we welcome to our stage again Dare to be Vulnerable Project (DTBV) founded by Susan Blain – a survivor of her own personal journey and a fierce advocate for sharing and supporting stories to bust the stigma and shame around mental illness. Dare to Be Vulnerable Project is a not-for-profit social enterprise on a mission to ensure people know they’re not alone in their mental health struggles. By fostering courageous conversations, a safe space is created for people to share their stories around their mental health challenges and to let those that suffer in silence know that they are not alone.
In this event, we bring together 3 incredible local leaders who will share their personal stories and actionable insights from leaders who have walked the path. Attendees can expect to gain invaluable insights, connect with a supportive community of peers, discover the strength in vulnerability and inspire change in how mental health is approached in tech.
