Karen is the founder and Executive Director at Wesley Clover Parks, a not-for-profit four-season outdoor recreation and learning hub in Ottawa, Canada dedicated to promoting health and education. Karen is the visionary behind the project – overseeing all activity and development on the site. From hiring her team, growing the programing, heading construction plans, and facilitating partnerships with other organizations who are experts in their respective fields, she has been fundamental in the growth and expansion of the project.

Karen is also a founding member of Wesley Clover Foundation which directs funds to local causes within the Nation’s Capital. A busy mother of four, Karen still finds time to compete as an elite equestrian athlete. Karen sits as a board member for Brooksteet Hotel, KRP Properties, the Celtic Manor Resort, Invest Ontario, the CHEO Foundation, and the Jumping Committee for Equestrian Canada. She was recently chair of the board of the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation and continues to remain as an ambassador for the hospital.

Karen is a graduate with honours from Carleton University.
