Golriz Fattahi
Chief Operating Officer
Alacrity Canada
Golriz helped Alacrity Canada become a trusted organization as one of British Columbia’s leading advocates for entrepreneurs. Working with small to medium-sized businesses and advising alongside Alacrity’s global network of mentors, she has aided in the start and scale-up of tech products, companies, and entrepreneurial teams.
Golriz was critical in the launch of Alacrity’s inaugural program in 2010, with the Entrepreneurship@Alacrity program securing funding and support for young entrepreneurs. Since then, Golriz has worked to launch multiple multi-million-dollar programs with the team, while simultaneously establishing and fortifying relationships with government partners and community collaborators. To date, she’s launched and managed eleven programs in British Columbia. Her work has supported over 16,000 businesses in the last 5 years, including those where she’s worked hands-on with startups as part of Alacrity Ventures.
Outside of her comprehensive roles at Alacrity, Golriz is an active member of Canadian Accelerator and Incubator Network (CAIN), is the Director of Provincial Entrepreneurship Trust, serves as Chair of Saplings Parents Association at her children’s school, and is the Director of Alacrity Ventures Inc.
